Christmas Crisp with Apples, Pears and Cranberries

Serves 6
You can make a few hours a head of time and bake 30 minutes before serving.
Ingredients
- 4 cups or 3 large Honeycrisp apples, peeled and diced ½ inch cubes
- 3 cups or 2 pears, peeled and diced ½ inch cubes
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- ¾ cup dried cranberries
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- ¾ teaspoon powdered ginger
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons flour
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Mix all of the ingredients together and place into a 11×7 or 6, 2 cup baking dishes.
Topping
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- ¼ cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 6 Tablespoons butter melted
Directions:
- Mix the oats, flour, cinnamon and ginger together in a small bowl. Stir in the melted butter. Crumble the topping evenly over the fruit.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
